    Amp problem

I noticed that my subs weren't working when I got home today. I looked at the Amp and there is a red light blinking on it. It's the protection light. Since my enclosure has LED ligts in them, I tried those and they still worked. I also made sure the wires were secure and weren't touching. How should I go about troubleshooting the amp? Could it be a blown fuse either on the amp or the amp kit in the engine bay? This system has never given me a problem until today. I know the subs aren't blown cuz they are turned WAY down.

I actually had that happen one time. Check the AMP turn on wire, the super tiny one. I think thats what happened withe mine. Yank it around see if it's loose. Check your ground as well

check fuses in the amp and ground wire connections. If that's not it, something may have shorted or overheated inside and it's in a "safe" mode.
